Pair of Table lamps “BN 26” by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd Sweden, 1960s

A refined pair of BN 26 table lamps designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd in the 1960s. Executed in brushed aluminium, the lamps display Jakobsson’s signature play of light and shadow through their tiered shades  a sculptural approach that diffuses light with gentle precision.

Their sleek, architectural form and soft illumination exemplify Scandinavian modernism at its most poetic: functional, minimal, and sensuous. The combination of technical clarity and atmospheric warmth gives these pieces a timeless presence, equally at home in a modern or classic interior.
