About the designer
Patricia Urquiola (b. 1961, Spain) is an internationally acclaimed designer and architect based in Milan. After studying under Achille Castiglioni, she worked with De Padova and later led Lissoni Associati’s design group. In 2001 she founded Studio Urquiola, working across furniture, interiors, and architecture. Known for her experimental yet elegant approach, Urquiola has collaborated with brands such as Moroso, B&B Italia, Cassina, and Kartell, earning numerous awards and cementing her status as one of the most influential designers of her generation.
