An early and highly sought-after example of the PK33 stool designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1959 and produced by E. Kold Christensen. This first-edition piece bears the original manufacturer’s sticker and retains a fragment of its purchase label, still showing a price in Dutch guilders fl. 320 — a rare trace of provenance.

The stool features Kjærholm’s signature combination of industrial steel frame and circular, floating seat. The leather cushion is original and structurally intact but worn and due for restoration, offering an ideal opportunity for a collector to reupholster to preference while preserving the authenticity of the base.
