Sculpture “Two = One” by Josep Bofill, 1995

A powerful and thought-provoking sculpture where duality and unity merge into one. Josep Bofill explores symmetry, contrast, and material to present the human identity from two perspectives. The work invites reflection and makes a bold statement in any setting – from private collections to public gallery spaces.

Josep Bofill Moliné was born on August 29, 1942, in Barcelona, Catalonia. He studied at the Escola de Belles Arts i Oficis de Barcelona (“La Lonja”) from 1958 onward. His work has been exhibited internationally — including in Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, the UK, USA, Russia, Hong Kong, Venezuela, and Colombia — often in museums and public spaces. Notable public commissions include Una Porta a la Salut at Vall d’Hebron Hospital (Barcelona), monuments in Zaragoza, Romanyà de la Selva, Hallwil (Switzerland), and commissions for the Generalitat de Catalunya and Hong Kong Airport.
